IDA AGM 2025 FLASH MINUTES
1. Use of an electronic starting system APPROVED
2. Use of any GPS enabled device APPROVED
Both these are Class Rule changes and must be approved by World Sailing. This will occur early in the new year and class associations will be notified when they become active.
3. Removal of crew weight limit for Gold Cups NOT APPROVED
4. Marstrand chosen to host 100th Anniversary Regatta 2029
5. Cascais chosen to host Gold Cup 2028
6. Lake Thun chosen to host European Championship 2028
7. Bram Van Olphen elected Chairman to succeed Gerard Blanc
8. Christian Zinkler elect Vice Chairman to succeed Gregor Berz
9. AGM 2026 to be held in Dublin October 24th
